SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY | MARKET & MUSIC FESTIVAL - LA

Hosted by CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles 

Saturday, June 29, 2013 | 11am - 8pm 

In addition to individual businesses holding events online and in-store, the SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY Market & Music Festival will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 11am-8pm. Taking place near “America’s Port” in Los Angeles, it will be hosted by CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles. The event will coincide with the one-year anniversary of CRAFTED LA and in addition to the nearly one hundred resident vendors and thousands of shoppers each weekend, SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY will introduce a new selection of vendors and performers specifically for the inaugural event.

Along with the Market & Music Festival, there will be a food truck cook off with the Hamburger “Throw Down,” beverages for all ages featuring local craft beer from San Pedro Brewing Company and a selection of wines from some local small-run wineries by Off The Vine. Also, the Long Beach Derby Gals will make an appearance and there will be many more interactive and educational exhibits to entertain. There will be other Americana celebrations nearby at the Port of Los Angeles, where they will also host an anniversary celebration for the permanent residency of the USS Iowa Battleship.

FESTIVITIES INCLUDE:

  • Interactive exhibits for all ages including: Caricature Artist Adrian Penaflor, Cha Cha Covers: Nails by Design (Nail Bar) 
  • SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY Market at CRAFTED LA, featuring American Made, Made in America and Shop American vendors 
  • Veterans  Clothing Drive & Raffle (Inspired by Christopher R. Smith) *Bring wearable items of clothing for raffle tickets to win American Made goods (10 max)
  • Food and beverages for all ages, featuring the "Hamburger Throwdown," featuring El Burger Luchador vs. Great American Burger
  • Libations provided by San Pedro Brewing Company and a selection of local wineries in Southern California by Off The Vine.
  • KCRW "Moves" vehicle playing music and doing giveaways (12pm-2pm)  
  • Musical performances begin at 2pm
  • Appearances by Long Beach Derby Gals
  • FREE PARKING & FREE ADMISSION

    CRAFTED at the Port of LA is located at 110 E. 22nd St. San Pedro, CA 90731, about 20-30 minutes from most points of Los Angeles and accessible from the 405, Highway 1 -PCH and 110 freeway. There is ample FREE parking onsite and nearby. Visit a map of the location HERE
