What is Shop American Saturday?

SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY is an Awareness campaign that celebrates American Made goods and the people behind the manufacturing, design, production and commerce.

What does "Shop American", "Made in America" and “American Made” mean for SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY? 

100% AMERICAN MADE

All production executed and completed in the USA; including labor, manufacturing, materials, components and assembly.

MADE IN AMERICA

At least 75% of all production costs, including materials, labor and manufacturing as well as final assembly and product transformation completed in the USA, per FTC regulations to be labeled Made in America.

SHOP AMERICAN

At least 50% of all production costs, including materials, labor and manufacturing as well as final assembly and product transformation completed in the USA, are the requirements to be labeled Shop American products.

What is the date for SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY?

The second annual celebration is Saturday, June 28, 2014. We'll hold this celebration annually, the Saturday before July 4th. In addition, we'll follow up with others such as the Saturday before Veterans Day.

How can I participate?

Everyone is invited to participate and we're excited to have such a positive response. If you are interested in learning about events, information about American Made goods 

Who Participates?

Makers, Manufacturers, Retailers, Service Providers and Suppliers. We're hoping to have anyone that participates in the ecosystem of domestic manufacturing and the infrastructure that supports this industry. 

What do they do to participate?

Offer special SHOP AMERICAN SATURDAY incentives, promotions, awareness and activities around July 4th promotions. 

What does participant do in Shop American Saturday?

Interested parties come together to create awareness for and show accessibility of American Made products for people and businesses of all economic means, location and personal interest.
